Swedish Massage is a manual therapy that emphasizes long strokes, kneading and friction motions to encourage proper circulation. The technique involves rubbing muscles together in the same direction as the flow of blood to the heart. Swedish massage works to improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, stretch tight ligaments and reduce emotional stress.
A couples massage is when two people are massaged at the same time in the same room. We have special treatment rooms that are set up with two separate massage tables so that each client can be massaged at the same time by two different therapists.
Stretch therapy encompasses a wide range of techniques, including foam rolling, massage, myofascial release, and active range of motion movements, in addition to traditional passive stretches.
Gua sha is a natural, alternative therapy that involves scraping your skin with a massage tool to improve your circulation. This ancient Chinese healing technique may offer a unique approach to better health, addressing issues like chronic pain.
4 Handed Massage
As the name suggests, a 4 handed massage incorporates 4 hands for massaging the client.
Two therapists will simultaneously massage a client, working their hands in a fashion that is super effective in releasing all the stress and aches that your body has accumulated after a long day at work.
Hot Stone Massage
A hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy. It’s used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body.
During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat. Hot massage stones are heated to between 130 and 145 degrees.
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
This targets 1–2 areas that have been causing pain and/or limited range of motion — great for those who hold all their stress in certain areas (such as neck and shoulders).
This service is great for those with limited time.
